Hydrocolloid compositions are provided having improved advantages over previous hydrocolloid compositions. The novel hydrocolloid compositions herein disclosed comprise an ethylene propylene diene monomer polymer, wherein the ethylene propylene diene monomer polymer comprises about 25 to 75% ethylene and about 75 to 25% propylene; a polyisobutylene, wherein the hydrocolloid composition comprises about 95% to about 30% polyisobutylene; and hydrophilic particles, wherein the hydrocolloid composition comprises about 20% to about 40% hydrophilic particles.

L'invention concerne des compositions hydrocolloïdes présentant des améliorations avantageuses par rapport aux compositions hydrocolloïdes antérieures. Ces nouvelles compositions sont notamment utilisées dans la fabrication de pansements à appliquer sur la peau d'un utilisateur pour soigner les plaies, et présentent une intégrité, une absorption et une adhérence améliorées. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication de ces compositions hydrocolloides.
