A B S T R A C T IMPROVED HYDROCONVERSION CATALYST AND PROCESS An improved hydrocarbon conversion catalyst comprising one each of molybdenum or tungsten and of cobalt and/or nickel incor- porated into a titania-containing gamma alumina support prepared by mulling the appropriate ingredients, extruding and drying and calcining the extrudate obtained. The catalyst is suitably applied in hydrodenitrification and hydrodesulphurization processes.
