The present invention relates to a self-contained, continuous, hydrodynamic power generator apparatus. The apparatus operates on the principle that, having a lighter density than water, a gas attempts to rise in water. A sealed gas compartment is built into each of a series of containers extending on an endless loop supported in a vertical plane by a series of pulleys. One side of the loop extends through a tank of water, and the other side does not. Containers move upward through the tank of water due to the gas compartments in the containers. The containers carry water from the top of the tank, and that water is then returned under gravity to the base of the tank, on the way acting on a drive wheel. The drive wheel is connected to a generator for producing power.
