ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The extraction of water from finely pulverized ores may be improved by adding to the ores a hydroextractin? composition comprising a non-ionic compound having a polyoxy- alkylene group in the molecule and a cloud point of not more than 35°C, and an anionic compound having a hydrophobic polyoxyalkylene group in the molecule. The non-ionic and anionic compounds may be prepared by any known method.
