- 42 - ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An improved process for the rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation of olefins to aldehydes is described. The improvement provides a means for recovering valuable components in gaseous streams by scrubbing the streams with a stripped or cooled catalyst solution.
