A hydrogen storage alloy electrode comprising a hydrogen storage alloy (3) and a conductive metal (4) and completely free of organic binder is disclosed, wherein at least two layers of an active material holding layer and a conductive metal layer essentially are integrated into an electrode sheet having a conductive network communicating throughout the electrode. The electrode can be used in a nickel-metal hydride storage battery, for example, particularly exhibits high efficiency charge/discharge characteristics while satisfying general characteristics as a battery, and has a relatively low cost and facilitates recycling.
L'invention concerne une électrode en alliage de stockage d'hydrogène comprenant un alliage de stockage d'hydrogène (3) et un métal conducteur (4) totalement exempt de liant organique. Au moins deux couches, la couche de support du matériau actif et la couche de métal conducteur, sont complètement intégrées dans une feuille d'électrode ayant un réseau conducteur communiquant via l'électrode. L'électrode, trouvant une application dans une batterie de stockage à l'hydrure de nickel, fait preuve d'une charge et décharge très efficaces tout en assumant le reste des fonctions d'une batterie. Elle a l'avantage d'être peu coûteuse et facile à recycler.
