The invention relates to a tank of the type that comprises a container (4) for housing hydrogen and metallic hydride placed inside the container. According to one part of the invention, the tank includes at least one solid body (6) made from a compacted material containing metallic hydride and a matrix. The invention is suitable, for example, for tanks for internal combustion engines or for fuel cells, in particular for motor vehicles, as well as for any stationary or mobile application involving hydrogen.
Ce réservoir est du type comprenant un conteneur (4) pour contenir de l'hydrogène, et de l'hydrure métallique disposé à l'intérieur du conteneur. Selon un aspect de l'invention, il comprend au moins un corps solide (6) formé d'un matériau compacté comprenant de l'hydrure métallique et une matrice. Application notamment aux réservoirs pour moteur à combustion interne ou pour pile à combustible, en particulier sur les véhicules automobile, ainsi que toute application stationnaire ou mobile utilisant l'hydrogène.
