A process for the hydrogenation of a hydrocarbon feed containing unsaturated components includes providing a catalyst including at least one noble metal on a non~crystalline, mesoporous inorganic oxide support having at least 97 volume percent interconnected mesopores based upon mesopores and micropores, a BET surface area of at least 300 m2/g and a pore volume of at least 0.3 cm3/g; and, contacting the hydrocarbon feed with hydrogen in the presence of said catalyst under hydrogenation reaction conditions.
Ce processus destiné à l'hydrogénation d'une alimentation d'hydrocarbure contenant des composants insaturés passe par la fourniture d'un catalyseur comprenant au moins un métal noble sur un support d'oxyde inorganique mésoporeux, non-cristallin, ayant au moins 97 volumes par pourcent de mésopores interconnectés basés sur des mésopores et des micropores, une zone de surface BET d'au moins 300 m /g et un volume de pore d'au moins 0,3 cm3/g et le contact de l'alimentation en hydrocarbures avec de l'hydrogène en présence dudit catalyseur dans des conditions de réaction d'hydrogénation.
