The invention relates to a method, according to which C4-C6 olefins or an olefin fraction which is essentially free of sulphur and contains C4-C6 olefins are isomerised on a contact containing an element of the eighth subgroup of the periodic table of elements, in the presence of at least one added sulphur compound, and the polyunsaturated hydrocarbons which are optionally contained therein are selectively subjected to hydrogenation and hydroisomerisation. The sulphur compounds are separated from the product and are optionally redirected into the educt in order to create products which are practically free of sulphur.
L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel des oléfines C<sb>4</sb>-C<sb>6</sb> ou bien une fraction oléfinique sensiblement exempte de soufre, qui contient des oléfines C<sb>4</sb>-C<sb>6</sb>, sont, au niveau d'un contact qui contient un élément du huitième groupe secondaire de la classification périodique des éléments, en présence d'au moins un composé soufré ajouté, isomérisées tandis que les hydrocarbures polyinsaturés contenus éventuellement dans celles-ci sont hydrogénés et hydromérisés. Les composés soufrés sont séparés du produit et, éventuellement, ramenés dans l'éduit, de telle sorte que l'on obtient des produits pratiquement sans soufre.
