Abstract Diphosphites having the structural formula: Image wherein: R1 and R2 may be the same or different and are C4 to C12 tertiary alkyl or C9 to C12 tertiary aralkyl; R3 is hydrogen, C1 to C18 alkyl or C7 to C18 aralkyl. These hyrdolytically stable solid diphosphites are useful as antioxidants in organic polymers such as polypropylene.
