ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydromechanical torque transmission device comprises three coaxial rotatable bodies. These are a driving body, an intermediary body and a driven body. The driving and driven bodies are adapted to be coupled to respective coaxial shafts that are to be coupled together in rotation. A speed correlator system is adapted to maintain the speeds of the driving and driven bodies relative to the intermediary body in a predetermined ratio. The intermediary body comprises a hydraulic circuit. The driving and intermediary bodies define a first pump adapted to cause a flow of fluid in this hydraulic circuit. The intermediary and driven bodies define a second pump also adapted to cause a flow of fluid in the hydraulic circuit. One at least of the first and second pumps has a variable volumetric capacity. The device also comprises means for controling variations in this variable volumetric capacity.
