A hydrophilic ethylenically unsaturated macromonomer is disclosed that is prepared by the addition polymerisation of addition polymerisable monomers that include monomers that have hydroxyl or amino functional groups, some of which may be subsequently reacted to provide (meth)acryl ethylenic unsaturation. The macromonomers may be used to form intraocular lenses in situ by polymerisation of the macromonomers.
L'invention concerne un macromonomère hydrophile insaturé en éthylène, élaboré en polymérisation par addition de monomères pouvant être soumis à ce type de polymérisation. Lesdits monomères englobent des monomères à groupes fonctionnels hydroxyle ou amino, dont certains peuvent être soumis ultérieurement à une réaction visant à établir une insaturation (méth)acryle éthylénique. Il est possible d'utiliser les macromonomères considérés pour former des lentilles intraoculaires <i>in situ</i>, par polymérisation.
