Hydrophilic cross-linked polymeric membranes, when prepared according to the process of the present invention, are unique in character in as much as the steady state permeability of the membrane has been altered by blending and cross-~linking polyalkyl amines and polyalcohols. To obtain desired results, the compositions must contain at least 10% polyalkyl amines, with preferred amounts of polyalkyl amines in the composition being in excess of 40%, with over 50% polyalkyl amine concentration by weight being most preferred.

La présente invention se rapporte à des membranes polymères réticulées hydrophiles qui, lorsqu'elles sont préparées conformément à un procédé selon l'invention, sont de nature unique, leur perméabilité à l'état stationnaire ayant été modifiée par le mélange et la réticulation de polyalkylamines et de polyalcools. Afin que l'on obtienne les résultats désirés, les compositions doivent contenir au moins 10 % poids de polyalkylamines, les quantités de polyalkylamines dans la composition étant de préférence supérieures à 40 % poids, et idéalement supérieures à 50 % poids.
