A curable silicone dental impression composition is presented, preferably comprising (A) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane having at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom; (B) a silicone polymer having at least two alkenyl groups; (C) a polysiloxane polyester polymer having at least one dimethicone-based polyoxyalkylene substituent, and at least one halogenated alkyl substituent; (D a catalyst; and (E) inorganic filler. The polysiloxane polymer has the general formula A-~-B-C-~x-A wherein x is an integer greater than 1, and such that the fluorine content of the polysiloxane polyester is in the range from about 5% to about 30% by weight; wherein A is a fluorinated alkoxy group having the formula F3C(CF2)n(CH2)mO- wherein n is an integer from 3 to 17 and m is an integer from 2 to 4; wherein B is dimer acid or a diacid; and wherein C is a dimethicone-based polysiloxane copolyol having the following formula: Me3Si--~-OSiMe2-~q--~OSiMeR1-~t--SiMe3 wherein Me is methyl, o is an integer in the range from 2 to 20, q is an integer in the range from 0 to 200, and R1 is a hydroxylated polyoxyalkylene substituent having the formula -(CH2)3O(AO)a(BO)b(CO)c- wherein the propyl group is linked to the silicone atom, and AO, BO, and CO are each independently linear or branched polyoxyalkylene groups having from 2 to 6 carbons, a and b are each independently integers in the range from 0 to 20, and c is an integer in the range from 2 to 20. The use of the polysiloxane polymer of the present invention results in a dental impression material with optimal hydrophilicity, increased tear strength and improved water adsorption.
Une composition de silicone durcissable pour empreintes dentaires est présentée, comprenant, de préférence, A) un polyorganohydrosiloxane portant au moins un atome d'hydrogène lié au silicium; B) un polymère de silicone portant au moins deux groupes alkényle; C) un polyester de polysiloxane portant au moins un substituant de polyoxyalkylène à base de diméthicone, et au moins un substituant alkylique halogéné; D) un catalyseur; et (E) une charge inorganique. La formule générale du polymère de polysiloxane est la suivante : A-~-B-C-~x-A où x est un nombre entier supérieur à 1, et tel que la teneur en fluor du polyester de polysiloxane se situe dans une étendue d'environ 5 à environ 30 % en poids; où A est un groupe alcoxy fluoré de formule F3C(CF2)n(CH2)mO- où n est un nombre entier compris entre 3 et 17 et m est un nombre entier compris entre 2 et 4; où B est un acide dimérique ou un diacide; et où C est un copolyol de polysiloxane à base de diméthicone de formule : Me3Si--~-OSiMe2-~q--~OSiMeR1-~t--SiMe3 où Me est un méthyle, o est un nombre entier compris entre 2 et 20, q est un nombre entier compris entre 0 et 200, et R1 est un substituant du polyoxyalkylène hydroxylé de formule -(CH2)3O(AO)a(BO)b(CO)c- où le groupe propyle est lié à l'atome de silicium, et AO, BO et CO sont indépendamment les uns des autres des groupes polyoxyalkylène linéaires ou ramifiés de 2 à 6 carbones, a et b sont indépendamment l'un de l'autre des nombres entiers de 0 à 20 et c est un nombre entier compris entre 2 et 20. L'utilisation du polymère de polysiloxane de la présente invention donne un matériau pour empreintes dentaires ayant une hydrophilicité optimale, une résistance accrue au déchirement et une adsorption améliorée de l'eau.
