ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydroponic apparatus comprising a bed and planting panels above the bed for holding what is planted with seedlings of a plant and a culture solution is fed into each bed so that the tip of the roots of the plant growing in the planting panels is soaked therein and a wave-making part for making waves in the surface of the culture solution within the bed. The wave-making part comprises shaft disposed around the center of the bed to rotate freely, a drive means such as a motor for rotating the shaft, a converting means such as a crank member connected with the shaft so that the rotating force of the shaft is converted into reciprocating linear motion, a working member driven vertically by means of the converting means, a supporting member disposed above the bed and secured to the working member and a supporting plate fixed to the securing member and wave-making plates secured to the supporting member and disposed at a distance from the surface of the culture solution L in the bed which beat the surface of the culture solution L in the bed to make waves.
