The invention relates to a hydroelectric power plant which comprises a flow path having an upper water level and a lower water level, two turbines that are connected in series in the flow path, each comprising a rotor, a housing and a draft tube. The invention is characterized by the following features: the first machine when seen in the direction of flow is a radial-flow or semiaxial-flow or axial-flow turbine; the second machine when seen in the direction of flow is a radial-flow, semi-radial or axial-flow turbine.
L'invention concerne une centrale hydraulique comportant un parcours d'écoulement qui présente un niveau supérieur des eaux et un niveau inférieur des eaux, deux turbines, couplées en série dans le parcours d'écoulement et comprenant dans chaque cas un rotor, un carter et un tuyau d'aspiration. L'invention se caractérise par les spécificités suivantes: la première machine, vue dans le sens d'écoulement, est une turbine parcourue dans le sens radial ou semi-axial ou axial.
