The invention relates to a process for upgrading hydrocarbonaceous feedstreams by hydroprocessing using bulk bimetallic catalysts. More particularly, the invention relates to a catalytic hydrotreating process for the removal of sulfur and nitrogen from a hydrocarbon feed such as a fuel or a lubricating oil feed. The catalyst is a bulk catalyst containing at leas one Group VIII metal and at least one Group VIB metal. The catalyst is prepared hydrothermally.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé pour valoriser des flux d'alimentation à base d'hydrocarbures, par hydrotraitement au moyen de catalyseurs bimétalliques massiques. Cette invention concerne de manière plus spécifique un procédé d'hydrotraitement catalytique pour supprimer le soufre et l'azote contenus dans un flux d'alimentation constitué d'hydrocarbures, par exemple un flux d'alimentation constitué de carburant ou d'huile lubrifiante. Le catalyseur employé est un catalyseur massique comportant au moins un métal du groupe VIII ainsi qu'au moins un métal du groupe VIB. Ledit catalyseur est préparé de façon hydrothermique.
