Abstract A hydrostatic control device, particularly steering device, comprises an outer housing (1) and a metring motor (M) arranged thereon comprising a motor housing (14) having a first motor part (13) and a control shaft (L) connected to a rotor (11). One end of the motor housing (14) has a passage plate (19) of which one side forms a directional valve (22) together with the adjacent side of the outer housing end wall (4) and the other side forms a distributing valve (23) together with the adjacent side of the rotor (11). There is also a directional valve (22) comprising two relatively rotatable plates (4, 19) which are rotatable relatively to the first plate against the force of a neutral position spring (30, 31) through en angle fixed by rotation limiting means (23, 29). The actuating element (L) is fixed to rotate with the motor shaft (10). The first plate (9) of the directional valve (22) is fixed to the outer housing (1) and the second plate (19) is fixed to the motor housing (14). Fig.1.
