An all-terrain vehicle comprising in combination: a central frame with two parallel sides, each comprising a toothed wheel forward, two suspension tandem drives pivoting on a mounting on the side of the frame, caterpillar treads running around the wheels and tandems without pre-tensioning, a return wheel aligned with the tandems and positioning the treads. Each tread ideally comprises a pair of equally spaced elastomeric bands (38, 40), lugs (33) equally spaced around the band, a transverse drive bar linking the two bands, two triangular guides (36) fitted inside one band and spaced so as to delimit a track (42) to take successive wheels and tandems, and a bolt (74) to hold a guide and drive bar in place across the band.

La chenille comprend préférablement, une paire de bandes d'élastomère (3 8, 40) disposées une certaine distance l'une de l'autre, des taquets (33) disposés également, autour des bandes, et comprenant une barre de traction (80) reliant transversalement une bande à l'autre, deux guides (36) triangulaires installés à l'intérieur d'une bande et espacés pour délimiter un chemin de roulement (42) pour recevoir successivement les roues et tandems, un boulon de fixation (74) pour retenir un guide et la barre de traction à travers la bande.
