HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSIONS Abstract of the Disclosure A vehicle has a pair of ground engaging drive means, a prime mover, a hydrostatic transmission interconnecting the prime mover and each of the ground engaging drive means and a housing supporting the transmission. The transmission comprises a pair of pumps having aligned longitudinal axes and mounted on opposite faces of a manifold, a pair of motors, and conduit means hydraulically connecting said pumps and the motors and including passageways in the manifold, the latter being mounted on the housing and the motors being mounted within the housing.
