Hindered amines substituted on the N-atom with a hydroxy-substituted alkoxy moiety, bridging 2 or more 2,2,6,6,-tetraalkylpiperidine moieties, are particularly effective in stabilizing organic polymer compositions against the deleterious effects of oxidative, thermal and actinic radiation where the presence of the OH group on the compounds adds important properties not otherwise attainable.

L'invention concerne des amines encombrées à substitution sur l'atome N par une fraction alcoxy qui porte des substituants hydroxy, formant un pontage qui couvre deux ou plus de deux fractions 2,2,6,6,-tétraalkylpipéridine. Ces composés sont particulièrement efficaces pour stabiliser les compositions polymères organiques vis-à-vis de l'action néfaste des rayonnements de type oxydatif, thermique et actinique, sachant que la présence du groupe OH sur les composés offre des propriétés importantes non disponibles autrement.
