The present invention relates to a method of producing a hydroxyalkyl starch derivative comprising reacting hydroxyalkyl starch of formula (I) at its reducing end which is not oxidized prior to said reaction, with a compound of formula (II) R'NH-R'' (II) wherein R1-R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen or a linear or branched hydroxyalkyl group, and wherein either R' or R'' or R' and R'' comprise at least one functional group X capable of being reacted with at least one other compound prior to or after the reaction of (I) and (II), as well as to the hydroxyalkyl starch derivative as such, obtainable by said method, and to a pharmaceutical composition comprising said hydroxyalkyl starch derivative.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un dérivé d'amidon hydroxyalkylé consistant à effectuer la réaction d'un amidon hydroxyalkylé représenté par la formule (I) au niveau de son extrémité réductrice non oxydée et préalablement à ladite réaction, avec un composé représenté par la formule (II) R'NH-R'' (II) dans laquelle R¿1?, R¿2? et R¿3? représentent indépendamment hydrogène ou un groupe hydroxyalkyle linéaire ou ramifié et dans laquelle soit R' ou R'', soit R' et R'' comprennent au moins un groupe fonctionnel X pouvant être soumis à une réaction avec au moins un autre composé préalablement à la réaction de (I) et (II) ou après cette dernière, ainsi que le dérivé d'amidon hydroxyalkylé lui-même, pouvant être obtenu au moyen dudit procédé, et une composition pharmaceutique contenant ledit dérivé d'amidon hydroxyalkylé.
