The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) (see formula I) wherein R1, R 2, R3, R4, X, W, m and n are as defined in the description and claims. The compounds are useful for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of diseases which are associated with 2,3 -oxidosqualene-lanosterol cyclase such as hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis, vascular diseases, mycoses, parasitic infections, gallstones, tumors and/or hyperproliferative disorders, and treatment and/or prophylaxis of impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes.

L'invention concerne des composés représentés par la formule (I) dans laquelle R<SUP>1</SUP>, R<SUP>2</SUP>, R<SUP>3</SUP>, R<SUP>4</SUP>, X, W, m et n sont tels que définis dans le descriptif et les revendications.
