ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The instant invention is directed to novel hydroxyl containing compositions and the use thereof in producing polyurethane resins. The novel products disclosed herein are hydroxyl containing materials produced by alkoxylating a distillation residue obtained by distilling hexamethylene diamine from a mixture thereof with by-products obtained in the hydrogenation of adiponitrile to produce hexamethylene diamine.
