An electrical connector as-sembly for coupling a first implantable de-vice(110) to a second implantable device (120; 122; 124), said assembly (100) com-prising a male element (130) having one or more male contacts (132) electrically cou-pled with the first implantable device (110) and a female element (140) comprised of a socket (141) having one or more correspon-dent female contact (142) electrically cou-pled with said second implantable device (120; 122; 124) and adapted for receiving said one or more male contact (132). One or more male contacts (132) are sealed to the male element through a glass or ceramic sealing material. A female contact (142) of said socket (141) comprises a contact struc-ture (150) comprised of a plurality of con-ductive elongated wires (170) which extend along the internal surface of said the female contact (142) in a hyperboloid arrange-ment, thereby providing an electrical cou-pling between the female contact (142) and the corresponding male contact (132) in a plurality of points.
Linvention concerne un ensemble connecteur électrique destiné à coupler un premier dispositif implantable (110) à un second dispositif implantable (120, 122, 124). Ledit ensemble (100) comprend un élément male (130) doté dun ou de plusieurs contacts males (132) couplé électriquement au premier dispositif implantable (110) et un élément femelle (140) composé dune douille (141) doté dun ou plusieurs contacts femelle correspondants (142) couplé électriquement au second dispositif implantable (120, 122, 124) et conçu pour recevoir le ou les contacts males (132). Un ou plusieurs contacts males (132) sont scellés à lélément male via un matériau de scellement en verre ou en céramique. Un contact femelle (142) de la douille (141) comprend une structure de contact (150) composée dune pluralité de fils conducteurs allongés (170) qui sétendent le long de la surface interne du contact femelle (142) selon un agencement hyperboloïde, ce qui produit un couplage électrique entre le contact femelle (142) et le contact male correspondant (132) au niveau dune pluralité de points.
