SUMMARY (VOLUNTARY ANSWER VOID OF LEGAL VALUE): Hypodermic needle destructor made up of a box in whose interior is installed an electrical device comprised of a current transformer with an output rectifier, to which box is connected a flexible plate which may come into contact with the needle to be destroyed and with a spinning disk using direct current such that when the needle reaches the correct distance from the spinning disk a voltaic arc is formed, melting the needle completely. The needle insertion orifice lies above a moveable plate held at its highest position by a spring which, at the pressure of inserting the needle, allows the needle to approach the disk, whose rotation hurls the released particles outward to be collected later in a container which also catches the base and collar of the syringe which are sliced off in a second insertion orifice equipped with a sharp cutting edge.
