ABSTRACT A hydraulically actuated pump that can be remotely operated manually or by other forms of power to pump water or fluid from depths or locations remote from the primary drive system. The stroke length can be varied according to the well yield and piston diameters can be changed to attain variable forces. The pump consists of a flow and return line, as such the forces are relatively equal. By displacing this fluid, either by a hydraulic motor or a reciprocating cylinder, or the combination of both, the two opposed pistons through one way valves, create flow displacement in one direction only. The pump also compresses air in a chamber which helps to lower the stress reversals and also aids in efficiency. The flexible lines make installation easier and allow the well head to be sealed to prevent well contamination.
