A novel pharmaceutical composition for preparing effervescent tablets or powders containing ibuprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as the active ingredient. Said composition includes an effective amount of ibuprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; a pharmaceutically acceptable effervescent system including at least one alkaline carbonate and at least one organic acid, preferably in a sufficient amount to give a pH lower than 8; and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable oxidation inhibitor in a sufficient amount to stabilise the ibuprofen. The composition has remarkable stability whether as a powder or as a tablet.
La présente invention a pour objet une nouvelle composition pharmaceutique destinée à la préparation de poudres ou de comprimés effervescents incorporant l'ibuprofène ou l'un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables à titre d'ingrédient actif. Cette composition comprend: une quantité efficace d'ibuprofène ou de l'un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables; un système effervescent pharmaceutiquement acceptable comprenant su moins un carbonate alcalin et au moins un acide organique, de préférence en une quantité suffisante pour obtenir un pH inférieur à environ 8; au moins un agent antioxydant pharmaceutiquement acceptable en une quantité suffisante pour stabiliser l'ibuprofène. Cette composition présente une stabilité remarquable tant sous forme de poudre que sous forme de comprimé.
