An adapter system for use with an internal combustion engine flushing apparatus which permits connection to the crankcase and to the oil filter of internal combustion engines. A first adapter assembly enables a conduit hose of a flushing apparatus to be connected with the drain plug port of the engine crankcase via a specialized adapter piece and a universal adapter piece. The uniform adapter piece forms a threaded connection with the specialized adapter piece for attachment to the conduit hose of the flushing apparatus. A second adapter assembly for coupling a second hose of the flushing apparatus also includes one of a plurality of specialized adapter elements selected to fit the oil filter port of a particular automobile engine and a universal adapter element connected by a bayonet coupling between the specialized adapter and a second conduit hose of the flushing apparatus.
La présente invention concerne un système d'adaptateurs utilisable avec appareil de rinçage d'un moteur à combustion interne permettant la connexion au carter et au filtre à huile des moteurs à combustion interne. Un premier ensemble d'adaptateurs permet la connexion d'un conduit flexible d'un appareil de rinçage à l'orifice de bouchon de vidange du carter via une pièce d'adaptateur spécialisée et une pièce d'adaptateur universelle. La pièce d'adaptateur uniforme réalise une connexion filetée avec la pièce d'adaptateur spécialisée permettant la fixation du conduit flexible de l'appareil de rinçage. Un deuxième ensemble d'adaptateurs permettant le couplage d'un deuxième conduit flexible de l'appareil de rinçage comporte également un parmi une pluralité d'éléments d'adaptateurs choisi pour s'adapter à l'orifice du filtre à huile d'un moteur de véhicule automobile particulier et un élément d'adaptateur universel relié au moyen d'un connecteur à baïonnette entre l'adaptateur spécialisé et un deuxième conduit flexible de l'appareil de rinçage.
