ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An IC socket provided with an upset bottom formed in a socket board at a region from where a group of male terminals project. The IC socket has terminal partition walls ar- ranged in a lattice shape and adapted to partition the inte- rior of the upset bottom. A group of grooves are formed be- tween adjacent the terminal partition walls and the group of male terminals project from bottom walls of the grooves.
