ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An ice-cream sandwich is formed by dispensing individual rectangular edible wafers from a stack of face abutting wafers one at a time into a receptacle. After dispensing of the first wafer an ice-cream block is positioned on the first wafer and then a second wafer is dispensed onto the exposed face of the block to complete the sandwich.
