ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a continuous ice making process, the brine is cooled from heat exchange relation with the side of a chamber at a rate of at least 4000 BTU's per square foot of container wall per hour and the sides of the chamber are continuously mechanically scoured at a rate fast enough to prevent the formation of ice on the wall of the chamber.
