An ice skate assembly with a provision for the replacement of blades. As in other known assemblies, the new ice skate assembly comprises a carrier with a groove therealong within which a blade is received. However, in the novel assembly of the present invention, the blade is locked to the carrier by two or more threaded fastener means passing transversely through the blade at spaced intervals, an arrangement which advantageously permits rapid replacement of the blade using very simple tools. Alternatively, locking of the blade to the carrier is effected by two or more threaded fastener means passing upwardly through the carrier.
Cette invention concerne un patin à glace conçu pour permettre le remplacement de la lame. Comme dans les patins classiques, le patin objet de l'invention comporte un porte-lame à gorge longitudinale destinée à recevoir la lame. Mais contrairement aux lames des patins classiques, celle de la présente invention est fixée au porte-lame par au moins deux fixations filetées perpendiculaires à son axe longitudinal, une disposition constructive qui permet d'accélérer le remplacement à l'aide d'outils très simples. Le verrouillage de la lame au porte-lame peut aussi se faire au moyen d'au moins deux fixations filetées traversant le porte-lame de bas en haut.
