A recreational apparatus comprises a plurality of generally concentric hoops, including: a large base hoop for sliding along an ice surface; a smaller, waist hoop for providing a forearm rest; and, an intermediate sized hand-hold hoop. The base hoop is secured through a plurality of inwardly tilted upright supports to the smaller, waist hoop, and the waist hoop is secured through a plurality of outwardly and upwardly extending supports, to the hand-hold hoop. In use, a skater can be accommodated in upstanding relation inside the waist hoop with the skater's forearms supported on the waist hoop, with their hands grasping the hand-hold hoop.
