ABSTRACT A machine is provided for dispensing ice marking tape in a regular manner suitably moistened so that it will adhere to the ice surface. The pattern described by the applicator is determined by suitable means such as a radius arm which is connected to the centre of any circle which is to be defined or suitable linear guides. The machine pro- vides a simple method of directly applying markings to ice without multiple step processes being required, such as marking and painting.
