A method for determining whether a radio frequency identification (RFID) device is detected, includes: (a) selecting a plurality of different antenna patterns from a predetermined multiplicity of antenna patterns; (b) determining a plurality of binary results; (c) selecting, from a plurality of predetermined methods, a method for forming a loigical combination of the plurality of binary results according to the selected method. Each binary result is responsive to whether a respective communication link provides a respective signal having a respective amplitude exceeding a respective threshold. Each communication link is operative in acordance with at least one of the selected antenna patterns.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer si un dispositif d'identification par radiofréquence est détecté. Ce procédé consiste (a) à choisir une pluralité de diagrammes de gain d'antenne différents dans une pluralité de diagrammes de gain d'antenne prédéterminés, (b) à déterminer une pluralité de résultats binaires, (c) à choisir, dans une pluralité de procédés prédéterminés, un procédé pour former une combinaison logique, et (d) à déterminer que le dispositif d'identification est détecté par formation d'une combinaison logique de la pluralité de résultats binaires en fonction du procédé choisi. Chaque résultat binaire est sensible au fait qu'une liaison de communication respective produise un signal respectif possédant une amplitude respective dépassant une valeur seuil respective. Chaque liaison de communication est opératoire en accord avec au moins un des diagrammes de gain d'antenne choisis.
