The invention relates to a plastic-processing machine, particularly an injection molding machine or an extruder, comprising: at least one component, which is characterized by specific parameters and which serves to carry out at least one working or process step; a control device (10), which is joined to the at least one component and which is designed for controlling the at least one component, whereby the component-specific parameters are used in the control device (10) for controlling the component. The aim of the invention is enable the use of diverse components in a specific configuration, particularly plasticizing and injecting units with the various screw-cylinder configurations, in plastic processing machines with a low level of effort with regard to program adaptation, whereby a global control software can be used that is as configuration-independent as possible. To this end, the invention provides that a separate memory device is provided for the component. The component-specific parameters are stored inside this memory device and, for the purpose of identifying the component, can be transmitted to the control device (10) before or upon placing the component in operation.

L'invention concerne une machine de traitement de plastique, notamment une machine de moulage par injection ou une extrudeuse, comportant au moins un composant caractérisé par des paramètres spécifiques, destiné à la mise en oeuvre d'au moins une étape de processus ou de travail, et un dispositif de commande (10) relié à au moins un composant, conçu pour la commande du ou des composants, les paramètres spécifiques aux composants étant employés dans le dispositif de commande (10) pour la commande du composant. L'invention vise à permettre l'utilisation de divers composants présentant une configuration spécifique, notamment des unités de plastification ou d'injection présentant différentes configurations de vis et de cylindres, dans des machines de traitement de plastique, avec des moyens d'adaptation de programme réduits, par l'intermédiaire d'un logiciel de commande global essentiellement indépendant de la configuration. A cet effet, le composant est associé à un élément mémoire séparé qui enregistre les paramètres spécifiques aux composants, et les transmet au dispositif de commande (10) avant ou pendant la mise en service du composant.
