ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE . An audio frequency ionization ignition system for internal combustion engines which simulates turbulent combustion (diesel combustion) in spark ignited internal combustion engines utilizing standard equipment with minor changes in the wiring harness of a vehicle. This system includes an electronic contact debounce circuit, an audio oscillator, a divide by two frequency divider and AND circuits combined with power amplifiers. This supplies high voltage, sinusoidal pulses for ignition.
