The present invention relates to an apparatus for igniting fluid fuel in a combustion chamber, the apparatus comprising: at least one elongate member that defines an internal fuel channel; a conductive wire loop including a heater coll and an ignitor coll, said heater coll operably disposed inside of said internal fuel channel for resistive heating of fluid fuel flowing through said internal fuel channel, and said ignitor coll operably disposed downstream of said internal fuel channel for igniting the fluid fuel exiting said internal fuel channel, wherein, said heater coll and said ignitor coil are electronically coupled in series, said heater coll is in direct contact with the fluid fuel flowing through said internal fuel channel, and said ignitor coll is in direct contact with fuel exiting said internal fuel channel.

La présente invention concerne un appareil destiné à enflammer un combustible fluide dans une chambre de combustion, lappareil comportant : au moins un organe allongé définissant un conduit interne de combustible ; une boucle en fil conducteur comprenant une bobine de réchauffage et une bobine dallumage, ladite bobine de réchauffage étant disposée fonctionnellement à lintérieur dudit conduit interne de combustible en vue dun chauffage par résistance du combustible fluide circulant dans ledit conduit interne de combustible et ladite bobine dallumage étant disposée fonctionnellement en aval dudit conduit interne de combustible afin denflammer le combustible fluide sortant dudit conduit interne de combustible, ladite bobine de réchauffage et ladite bobine dallumage étant couplées électroniquement en série, ladite bobine de réchauffage se trouvant en contact direct avec le combustible fluide circulant dans ledit conduit interne de combustible et ladite bobine dallumage se trouvant en contact direct avec le combustible sortant dudit conduit interne de combustible.
