A polypeptide that functions as an IL-18 receptor is disclosed. The receptor is multimeric and includes at least one AcPL polypeptide, or fragment thereof, and at least one IL-1Rrp1 polypeptide, or fraction thereof. The receptor binds IL-18 and finds use in inhibiting biological activities mediated by IL-18.

L'invention concerne un polypeptide fonctionnant comme récepteur de l'interleukine-18 (IL-18). Ledit récepteur est un multimère comprenant au moins un polypeptide AcPL, ou un fragment de ce polypeptide, et au moins un polypeptide IL-1Rrp1, ou un fragment de ce polypeptide. Le récepteur, qui se lie à IL-18, est utilisé dans les activités biologiques d'inhibition induites par IL-18.
