A method for treating an injury of a liver of a subject with a composition featuring a pharmaceutically acceptable amount of an IL-6/sIL-6R complex, preferably Hyper-IL-6. The composition is administered to the subject such that the injury to the liver is treated. Furthermore, a method of gene therapy for treating a subject is provided, comprising the step of administering to the subject, a pharmaceutically acceptable amount of a vector carrying Hyper- IL-6 chimera gene, such that the subject is treated.
L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de traiter une lésion hépatique chez un sujet à l'aide d'une composition renfermant une quantité pharmaceutiquement acceptable d'un complexe IL-6/sIL-6R, de préférence Hyper-IL-6, cette composition étant administrée audit sujet de manière à traiter la lésion hépatique. L'invention concerne également une méthode de thérapie génique permettant de traiter un sujet, cette méthode consistant notamment à administrer à ce sujet une quantité pharmaceutiquement acceptable d'un vecteur porteur du gène chimère Hyper-IL-6, de manière à traiter ledit sujet.
