This invention provides for a method of treating a chemokine mediated disease, wherein the chemokine is one which binds to an IL-8 .alpha. or .beta. receptor and which method comprises administering an effective amount of a compound of Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In particular the chemokine is IL-8.
L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement d'une maladie médiée par la chimiokine, la chimiokine étant d'un type qui se lie à un récepteur .alpha. ou .beta. de l'IL-8. Cette méthode consiste à administrer une dose efficace d'un composé de formule (I) ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable dudit composé. La chimiokine est notamment l'IL-8.
