ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An illuminated clipboard is disclosed having a transparent board to which is attached a housing carrying a pivotable clip. The board has double beveled edges designed to enhance internal light reflections from sources of light mounted on one end of the board and embedded within it. The housing not only carries the pivotable clip but also includes a clock device and battery powered electrical circuitry designed to not only operate the above-mentioned light sources but also to operate a further light source.
