ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus in which a charged photoconductive member is exposed to a light image of an original document. An array of solid state light emitters are employed to illumi- nate the original document. The light image of the original document is projected onto the charged photoconductive member to record thereon an electrostatic latent image. The foregoing abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor is it intended to be limiting as to the scope of the invention in any way.
