A brick device which has a hollow simulated brick portion with a light-emitting upper surface portion, and an electric bulb unit supported within the simulated brick portion whereby, in use, light is transmitted through said upper surface. The upper surface portion may be a sheet of transparent material supported on ledges and snugly-fitting within the brick portion. The base of the brick portion is open over a substantial part of its area to facilitate drainage and substantially reduce condensation.

Dispositif en brique comportant une portion similibrique creuse pourvue d'une section supérieure à surface luminescente et comprenant un dispositif destiné à recevoir une ampoule électrique et retenu dans la portion similibrique. Lorsque l'ampoule est allumée, la lumière est diffusée par ladite surface luminescente. La section supérieure peut être constituée d'une feuille de matériau transparent supportée par des appuis et bien ajustée dans la portion de brique. La base de la portion en brique est en grande partie ouverte pour faciliter l'évacuation de l'eau et réduire considérablement la condensation.
