In an image forming apparatus using an indirect transferring method, an ink ribbon 4 is selectively heated by a thermal head 1, in a state where an intermediate transfer film 3 and the ink ribbon 4 are put one on the other on a platen roller 2, so that a record-image is formed as a mirror image on an image-forming layer 10 of the intermediate transfer film 3. Then, the intermediate transfer film 3 and a target object 9 are supplied with heat and pressure between a heating roller 5 and a pressure roller 6, so that the record-image is transferred along with the image-forming layer 10 of the intermediate transfer film 3 to the target object 9. The intermediate transfer film 3 and the ink ribbon 4 are respectively accommodated in cassettes 22 and 30 detachably mounted in the apparatus, and are used for forming the record-image while being fed from the cassettes 22 and 30.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de formation d'une image par transfert indirect. Ce dispositif comprend un cylindre d'impression (2), un film de transfert intermédiaire (3) placé sur le cylindre d'impression (2), et un ruban encreur (4) déposé sur le film de transfert intermédiaire (3). Le ruban encreur (4) est chauffé de manière sélective par une tête thermique (1). Une image à enregistrer est produite sous la forme d'une image symétrique sur une couche de formation d'image (10) du film de transfert intermédiaire (3). Ce film de transfert intermédiaire (3) et un corps de transfert (9) sont chauffés et comprimés entre un rouleau chauffant (5) et un rouleau de presse (6), et la couche de formation d'image (10) est transférée sur le corps (9) avec l'image à transférer. Le film de transfert intermédiaire (3) et le ruban encreur (4) sont logés dans des cassettes détachables (22, 30) et extraits des cassettes (22, 30) afin de former une image à enregistrer.
