ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An image projection system includes a cathode ray tube; a projecting lens disposed in front of the cathode ray tube; a beam splitter disposed in front of the projecting lens, the beam splitter being inclined to the optical axis of the projecting lens for reflecting the light from the cathode ray tube to one direction; and a reflecting mirror disposed near the beam splitter for reflecting the reflected light from the beam splitter to the other direction which is opposite to the one direction, and projecting the light from the cathode ray tube to a viewer through the beam splitter.
