A versatile method of cold transferring images without using supplemental heat in the course of image transfer to a wide variety of substrates includes printing an image (100a, 100b, 100c, 100d) onto an image transfer sheet (102) that has a coating of water-accepting adhesive. The transfer sheet (102) is then applied to the substrate (104) to transfer only the portions of the adhesive that bear the image (100e, 100f) onto the substrate (104), with the remainder of the adhesive remaining attached to the sheet.
L'invention concerne un procédé polyvalent permettant un transfert d'images à froid sans utiliser de chaleur supplémentaire au cours du transfert d'image sur une grande variété de substrats. Ce procédé consiste à imprimer une image (100a, 100b, 100c, 100d) sur une feuille (102) de transfert d'images comportant un revêtement d'adhésif acceptant l'eau. Cette feuille de transfert (102) est ensuite appliquée au substrat (104) pour ne transférer que les parties de l'adhésif qui comportent l'image (100e, 100f) sur le substrat (104), le restant de l'adhésif restant collé à la feuille.
