- 14 - ABSTRACT Imaged Microcapsule-Coated Paper Imaged microcapsule-coated paper, e.g. pressure-sensitive copying paper, is produced by imaging paper by means of laser energy and then applying a coating of microcapsules over the image. The image may be a manufacturer's name, logo or trademark, and may be applied at high speed on the paper machine on which the paper is produced or on the coating machine used to apply the microcapsule coating.
