The present invention is directed to a durable and imaged flame-retardant nonwoven fabric that can be used for flame-retardant apparel and other related applications. The fabric is formed by providing a precursor web (P) consisting of a blend of melamine fibers and aramid fibers. The precursor web (P) is hydroentangled on a three-dimensional image transfer device for formation of the fabric. The resultant fabric provides desirable air permeability and Thermal Protective Properties.
L'invention concerne un textile non tissé imagé ignifuge pouvant être utilisé dans l'habillement ignifuge et d'autres applications associées. Le textile est formé par une bande précurseur (P) constituée d'un mélange de fibres de mélamine et d'aramide. La bande précurseur (P) est hydro-enchevêtrée sur un dispositif de transfert d'image tridimensionnel pour former le textile. Le textile ainsi produit fournit une perméabilité à l'air souhaitable et des propriétés de protection contre la chaleur.
